A heartfelt message from Founder & CEO, Clinton Grusd, in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week

Dear Educators,
This week—and every week—we want to simply say: thank you.
Thank you for the early starts, the endless grading, the creative lessons—and yes, even the stickers that brighten a student’s day. Thank you for the patience, the energy, the creativity, and the quiet strength you bring to your classrooms every single day. Thank you for showing up for your students, even on the days when it’s hard.
At Ethiqly, everything we do is built around a truth you already know: that teaching changes lives.
This belief runs deep for us. My grandmother was a teacher in Apartheid-era South Africa—a time and place where teaching wasn’t just an act of instruction, but an act of resistance. She risked her freedom to educate children who were denied basic opportunities, driven by her unwavering belief in the power of education, equity, and voice.
Her courage is our compass. And so are you.
Today’s classrooms look different, but many of the challenges remain. You’re navigating learning loss, growing class sizes, limited resources, and the ever-rising expectations of what a teacher must be. Through it all, you remain the steady force at the center of every student’s journey—helping them find their confidence, their clarity, and their voice.
That’s why our mission at Ethiqly isn’t just about building technology—it’s about building tools that honor your work, amplify your impact, and respect your time.
We exist to support you. To give you back the moments that matter. To make space for what drew you to teaching in the first place: connecting, inspiring, empowering.
So, during this Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to do more than recognize you—we want to recommit 3 core values to you:
To building tools that are human-centered and educator-controlled.
To standing for equity, integrity, and access for all.
To helping you shape the next generation of confident, expressive, thoughtful writers—one student at a time.
Your work matters. Your voice matters. And we’re so grateful to be in your corner.
On behalf of all of us at Ethiqly: thank you.
With appreciation,
Clinton Grusd
